We previously reported that the A530 Middlewich Road, Nantwich, was closed in both directions. It was believed that the flooding was due to heavy rainfall. But now it's been confirmed that it was actually because of a burst water main between A51 Barony Road and Beam Heath Way. The traffic is currently coping well, but there is significant damage to the road, and it will be closed until Thursday morning. Reports suggest that it had completely flooded the road.
