The number of incidents reported to police in Staffordshire rose by 15.7 per cent on a year ago, based on the latest available data. Home Office figures show there were 7,446 incidents reported in the county in December, compared with 6,436 12 months earlier. A MOTORIST whose car overturned in an early-morning crash is tonight still in hospital. The 22-year-old driver was thrown from the vehicle following the collision in Keelings Road, Northwood, on January 30.
